Oh, Rita’s spreading rumours again. Bit disappointed I ain’t yet made front page.

Yeah, I have yet to see myself on there. But personally, I consider that a compliment.

Looking over at her Spencer smiled, “of course.” He shut off the egg beater and handed it to her keeping the whisks in the bowl. “I know you can do it,” he said softly moving his hand away after a short moment of them touching.

Daisy felt her cheeks burn as she glanced through her falling curls at Spencer’s face. She bit her lip and turned back to the bowl, the foreign object leaning heavily in her awkward hand. She reached up with the other hand and pressed the button he had indicated and the blender started. Daisy let out a yelp of fright as the object began to shake but she kept her grip. Steading herself on the counter with one hip, she took two hands and lowered the whisks back into the bowl.

My brain is officially mush from too much library…

It feels like I’ve been gone for a year!

Rolling hie eyes watching her place the ingredients in the bowl. “I wouldn’t be mad at you for making a mistake,” Spencer said softly just before laughing, “Alright, my turn.” He placed the beaters into the mix, “all you need to do is hit that button on the top and slowly move it around the bowl in a circle like so.”

“I would….” Daisy said quietly, letting her eyes fall. She shook her head, turning and watching Spencer as he used the beaters. She bit her lip, concentrating and trying not to say anything offensive about the confusing ways in which muggles tried to survive without magic. “C-can I try?” she asked hesitantly, reaching out her hand then drawing it back, nervous.
